In The Garden
Across the brook Cedron, our savior went to pray. He asked his friends to tarry, watch over him with faith. He walked a little ways, and fell onto his face. He knelt there in the garden, to his father he did say. Remove this cup from me, not my will but thine be done. Three times to the father, went his loving son. Three times was he forgotten, in the end he was betrayed. But how often do we forget, to wait for him in faith?
